ATAGO, a school of excellence in training is a great reality for the dissemination of traditional Aikido.

Ōsensei Morihei Ueshiba is the creator of the Martial Art known in the world as Aikido. From 1942 until his death Ōsensei lived in Iwama a small country town where he was able to create and develop the Art of Aikido.

A few kilometres from Iwama there is a mountain called Atago at the top there is a temple where Master Ueshiba used to go for praying and meditation.
